In the realm of modern cooking, air frying has emerged as a revolutionary method that allows home chefs to enjoy their favorite dishes with fewer calories and less fat. By using rapid air circulation, air fryers can achieve the crispy, golden-brown textures typically associated with traditional frying, all while retaining the essential flavors and moisture of the ingredients. This makes air frying an exciting alternative for those who are health-conscious but do not want to compromise on taste.

Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (for added flavor)

Instructions

Marinate the Steak Bites: In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. If desired, add Worcestershire sauce. Add the steak cubes and toss until evenly coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 1 hour for more flavor).

Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Air Fry the Steak Bites: Place the marinated steak cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded. If necessary, cook in batches. Air fry the steak bites for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Cook until the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness (medium-rare: 135°F, medium: 145°F).

Check for Doneness: Use a meat thermometer to check the temperature if you're unsure. Adjust cooking time according to how well you want them cooked.

Serve: Once done, remove the steak bites from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Enjoy: Serve these sizzling steak bites with your choice of dipping sauce, such as garlic aioli or a spicy sriracha mayo, along with some fresh veggies or a side salad.
