Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 cup salsa

4 large flour tortillas

2 cups frozen French fries

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for the fries.

Prepare the Fries: Spread the frozen French fries on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until crispy and golden, turning halfway.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.

Add Ground Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Season the Mixture: Stir in cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

Assemble the Burritos: Lay out one tortilla on a flat surface. Spoon 1/4 of the beef mixture into the center, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, add a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of salsa.

Wrap the Burritos: Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll up tightly from the bottom to the top. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

Grill the Burritos: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place each burrito seam-side down and grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side until slightly crispy and golden.

Serve: Plate the crispy fries alongside the burritos. Drizzle with remaining salsa and enjoy your cheesy, beefy creation, garnished with fresh cilantro.
