9 lasagna noodles

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

2 cups ricotta cheese

2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 cups spinach, chopped (fresh or frozen)

4 cups white sauce (like béchamel or Alfredo)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the Lasagna Noodles: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      Prepare the Chicken Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, chopped spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.

        Assemble the Lasagna: In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of white sauce on the bottom. Place three lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the chicken filling on top of the noodles followed by another layer of white sauce. Repeat the layers - noodles, chicken filling, and white sauce. Top with the remaining noodles and cover with remaining white sauce. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and all the Parmesan cheese over the top.

          Bake the Lasagna: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil (to prevent sticking, you may want to spray the foil with cooking spray). Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.

            Rest and Serve: Once baked, let the lasagna rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve warm and enjoy the creamy deliciousness!
