Ingredients

8 oz Boursin cheese (any flavor you prefer)

1 cup Panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried basil

1 tsp dried thyme

Salt and pepper, to taste

Olive oil spray or cooking spray

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Boursin: Remove the Boursin cheese from its packaging and cut it into smaller rounds or squares, about 1-2 inches thick. This will help it cook evenly and increase the surface area for a crispier texture.

Set Up the Breading Station: In three separate shallow dishes, set up your breading station:

        - In the first dish, place the all-purpose flour, seasoned with a pinch of salt and pepper.

          - In the second dish, whisk the eggs until well beaten.

            - In the third dish, mix together the Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried basil, and dried thyme.

Bread the Boursin: Take each piece of Boursin cheese and coat it in the flour, shaking off any excess. Next, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat it with the Panko breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure an even coating. Repeat this process for all pieces of cheese.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the breaded Boursin pieces onto your prepared baking sheet. If you want an extra crispy finish, spray the tops lightly with olive oil spray.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.

Serve: Once baked, remove the Boursin from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm with a side of crackers, fresh vegetables, or toasted baguette slices for the perfect appetizer or snack!
