Ingredients

1 pound fresh salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized cubes

½ cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

⅓ cup honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Prep the Salmon: In a bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Dredge each salmon cube in the flour mixture and shake off excess.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Cook the Salmon: Add the battered salmon cubes to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until they are golden brown and crispy. Work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding the pan.

Make the Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, grated ginger, and lemon juice.

Combine: Once the salmon bites are cooked, pour the honey garlic sauce over them in the skillet. Toss gently to coat the salmon bites evenly and allow them to caramelize slightly for about 1-2 minutes.

Serve: Remove from heat and transfer the crispy honey garlic salmon bites to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Enjoy! Serve warm as an appetizer or a delightful main dish.
