4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 slices of Swiss cheese

4 slices of ham (preferably prosciutto or Black Forest ham)

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (for the sauce)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken:

    - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

      - Place each chicken breast between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound them to about 1/2 inch thick using a meat mallet.

        - Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

          Assemble:

            - Lay one slice of ham and one slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast.

              - Roll the chicken tightly, starting from one end, and secure with toothpicks or kitchen twine. Repeat with the remaining chicken breasts.

                Bread the Chicken:

                  - Set up a breading station: place the flour in one shallow dish, whisk the eggs in another dish, and combine the breadcrumbs with a pinch of salt and pepper in a third dish.

                    - Dredge each rolled chicken piece in the flour, shaking off the excess, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
