3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Red pepper flakes for a hint of spice

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool and stop the cooking process.

Prepare the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and fresh basil.

Dress the Salad: Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss well to ensure everything is evenly coated.

Serve: If desired, sprinkle some red pepper flakes over the top for extra flavor. Serve immediately or chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
