Ingredients

1 lb chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp paprika

1 egg, beaten

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup honey

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and cut them into bite-sized pieces.

Coat the Chicken: In a shallow dish, mix the flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika. In another dish, place the beaten egg. In a third dish, add the breadcrumbs.

Dredge the Chicken: Dip each chicken piece first in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp of the butter. Add the breaded chicken pieces, cooking in batches if necessary, for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer the cooked chicken to a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Make the Honey Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to low. Add the remaining butter, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir constantly until the butter is melted and the ingredients are well combined.

Combine Chicken and Sauce: Pour the honey butter sauce over the cooked chicken pieces, tossing gently to coat them evenly.

Bake: Place the chicken in the preheated oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until hot and bubbly.

Serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
