Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skinless and boneless

1/4 cup hot honey (or regular honey mixed with red pepper flakes)

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the hot honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and lime juice until well combined.

Cut the Salmon: Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon bites into the bowl with the marinade, tossing gently to ensure each piece is well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes (up to 1 hour for more flavor).

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare for Baking: Arrange the marinated salmon bites on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.

Bake: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, sprinkle sesame seeds on top (if using) and garnish with chopped cilantro or sliced green onions. Serve warm as an appetizer or main dish.
