1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)

1 small garlic clove, minced

1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, basil, or oregano)

Instructions
 

In a medium mixing bowl or a jar with a lid, combine the fresh lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, minced garlic, sea salt, and black pepper.

    Whisk or shake the jar vigorously until the ingredients are well combined.

      Slowly drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil while continuously whisking until the dressing is emulsified and creamy. If using a jar, secure the lid and shake until combined.

        Stir in the chopped fresh herbs to add a burst of flavor.
