Ingredients

4 medium-sized russet potatoes, peeled and diced

1 packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix

¼ cup olive oil

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

¼ cup water

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, olive oil, melted butter, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Toss everything together until the potatoes are well coated.

Transfer the coated potatoes into a greased baking dish, spreading them out evenly.

Pour the water around the edges of the potatoes in the dish, which will help steam them as they roast.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to lock in moisture and place it in the preheated oven.

Bake for approximately 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove the foil and stir the potatoes gently.

Return to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the edges.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
