Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni (about 30 pieces)

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra spice)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it into a flat sheet. You should have 4 triangles.

Using a rolling pin, gently flatten each triangle to make it a bit larger.

Sprinkle a small amount of mozzarella cheese on the widest part of each triangle.

Place 3-4 slices of pepperoni on top of the cheese, then sprinkle with oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes if using.

Fold the pointed end of the triangle over the filling, then carefully roll the triangle towards the tip, sealing the edges to enclose the filling.

Arrange the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet, making sure to leave space between each one.

Brush the tops of the croissant rolls with the beaten egg to give them a glossy finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping if desired!
