Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

1 medium orange, peeled and segmented

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (plant-based or whey)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup Greek yogurt (for extra creaminess)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon orange zest (for added flavor)

1/2 cup ice (or more for desired thickness)

Instructions

In a blender, combine the almond milk, orange segments, vanilla protein powder, vanilla extract, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and orange zest.

Add the ice to the blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. If the shake is too thin for your liking, add more ice and blend again until desired consistency is reached.

Taste the shake and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.

Pour the shake into a tall glass and enjoy immediately, garnished with an extra orange slice or a sprinkle of orange zest if desired.
